City High National Honor Society
The City High National Honor Society was chartered and inducted its first members in the Spring of 1958. The primary purposes of the National Honor Society are to create and encourage enthusiasm for learning and recognize excellence in academics. The principles of honor, scholarship, service, leadership and character are the foundation of the National Honor Society.
Membership in the City High National Honor Society is determined at the end of the second trimester each year. Juniors and seniors who have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.500 or above. The Faculty Council of the City High National Honor Society further considers service, leadership, character and citizenship in selecting students for membership and induction.
